But the CEO of Colors Rajesh Kamat makes clear that Baba Ramdev refused the offer, due to his strict Yoga treatment who mainly focuses on waking up 3 am.
Big Boss 3 and Baba Ramdev can’t handle each other
Mumbai: The person who brought the revolution in the world with his Yoga Baba Ramdev is not going to participate as contestant of Bigg Boss 3. The channel just gave up when it came to handle finicky Baba.
In spite of the fact that the season 3 of the show swanks of celebrity host Amitabh Bachchan who reportedly bags 4 times the amount what Shilpa Shetty got for hosting Big Boss 2. The contestants are expected to be highly paid keeping the host’s stature in mind but the prize money remains the same.
The CEO of Colors Rajesh Kamat makes clear and says, “Yes we tried to negotiate with Baba Ramdev but it didn’t work out as he denied the offer. I think it was because of his strict Yoga treatment. We were ready to let him get up at 3 am in the morning and do Yoga if he had insisted. The only thing the participants can’t do is sleep further than 8 am.”
Varun Gandhi denies reports of joining Bigg Boss

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Varun Gandhi on Monday termed media reports linking him with a television reality show as “an attempt to misuse his name to garner publicity”.
In a statement issued through his spokesperson here this evening, Gandhi denied that he was joining reality show Bigg Boss and said he had nothing to do with any reality show on any private channel.
“The least that is expected of responsible media organisations is that they verify reports before giving space and credence to such false and foolish speculation,” said Gandhi, according to a statement by Anand Chaudhary, his spokesperson.
There have been speculative and unattributed reports in a section of the media that Gandhi, an MP from Pilibhit in Uttar Pradesh, would take part in the popular show.
The BJP MP courted controversy in the run up to the April-May Lok Sabha elections because of his communally incendiary speeches against the Muslim community.
TELEVISION REALITY show Bigg Boss 3 is almost ready to be on aired on Colors channel. Production house Endemol is producing this very popular reality show. This year the biggest name of Indian film industry Amitabh Bachchan is going to host this show. The Indian version of the popular British reality show Big Brother, Bigg Boss will have celebrity contestants locked into a house under the surveillance of multiple cameras for a period of few months without any contact with the outside world.
According to unofficial sources, Baba Ramdev could participate in the show but Baba Ramdev has refused the rumours about his participation in Bigg Boss season 3. The other big name in possible contestant is Bharatiya Janata Party controversial MP Varun Gandhi. Last year in Bigg Boss season 2 Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam took part in this reality show and was eliminated in the very first week. Actor Aditya Panscholi, Sherlyn Chopra, film Desh Drohi actor-producer Kamal Khan and German model, actress Claudia Ciesla are suppose to take part in this show.
Officially, participants’ names are yet to be announced by the channel and production house of this show but Amitabh Bachchan’s promo is airing from some time back on Colors.
Television audiences are now eagerly waiting for Bigg Boss season 3. Hope like earlier seasons of Bigg Boss, this season will also hit the TRP of the channel.
