Maro Charitra 2 is an upcoming 2010 Telugu film, starring Varun Sandesh and newcomer Anita in the lead roles. The film MaroCharitra2 is produced by Dil Raju and directed by Ravi Yadav. The new MaroCharitra ‘s significant portion of the film was shot in the USA. MaroCharithra 1 is a Telugu film starring Kamal Haasan in the lead role of the protagonist and Saritha as female lead role. MaroCharithra1 was one among the 
biggest hits at the box office. Released in 1978, it is a conventional love story later it was remade in Hindi as “Ek Duuje Ke Liye” in 1981. Maro Charithra story – MaroCharithrastory revolves around a simple “Telugu – Tamil” neighboring girl and boy falling in love and later their family interfere and ask them to remain separate for the whole year which makes the story end in tragedy.
The story talks a lot about neighboring Brahmin- Non-Brahmin wordy quarrels, father and son disagreements between Ramana Murthy and Kamal Hassan, prejudged conditions to break-up the love affair. The entire story names only two places, Vizag and Hyderabad.
