The special dinner was organised at India PM Manmohan Singh’s Delhi residence to welcome US President Barack Obama, Dignitaries were Azim Premji, Narayana Murthy, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Javed Akhtar, Kapil Sibal, Vishwanathan Anand and P Chidambram, was Aamir Khan. The US President BarackObama also extended a special invitation to Aamir to come to the US and promote his films. Aamir Khan has established himself as one of the leading actors of Hindi cinema. Amir Khan upcoming movie Dhobi Ghat is a 2010 film produced and directed by Kiran Rao in her directorial debut. The film is scheduled for release in cinemas in early 2011. The film stars Aamir Khan and Prateek Babbar. AamirKhan is said to have a lead role in the movie as a painter. Gustavo Santaolalla was signed it to compose the score and soundtrack of the film. Dhobi Ghaat had its world premiere in September 2010 at the Toronto International Film Festival.
