Adaminte Makan Abu Malayalam film which bagged four National Awards, won four Kerala state film awards including for the best film and best actor gets a stay order from the court for release.
AdaminteMakanAbu is a very simple but stimulating depict of a man’s search for a religious particularity gets a ban for release form the court Court. The Court at Calicut has issued a stay order on the release of the award winning movie. Why this happened for the best film release, for the reason is that the co-producer of the film, Ashraf Bedi who lodged a complaint for excluding his name in the documents which were submitted to the National Award Committee.
AdaminteMakanAbu is a 2011 Malayalam film directed by debutante Salim Ahmed and starring Salim Kumar in the lead role. The film shows humanist values freeing matters of faith from the constrictions of narrow parochialism. The film is expected to release in theatres on 25 June 2011.
