Shahrukh Khan actor The Bollywood Superhero becomes the first Indian to receive the special UNESCO Awards.
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is now looks to follow his tough competitor Salman Khan’s footsteps towards charity. Bollywood actor SRK turns the first Indian to be honoured with a special award for his goodness at the 20th UNESCO Awards in Germany on 2011 November 10. Sources turn on the heat with the buzz that, the G.One actor was asked to participate event in March this year by the Director General of UNESCO. Mrs Ohoven, the special UNESCO ambassador has sent him the invite as well. However, since the hero was busy with RAOne, the actor couldn’t think his availability till October. King Khan had graced the event and awarded the Pyramide con Marni award. Very Cheerful with the honour, Shah Ruk was seen signing his trademark autographs on the red carpet as well. Shahrukh met Hollywood action star and Hong Kong legend Jet Li in the event and admitted that he and his son Aryan are a great lovers of the martial art expert. Some of the other biggies who were present the gala event were Mikhail Gorbacheva, Noami Cambell and Ute Ohoven among others.
