Hate Story movie Review

Movie review of Hate StoryHate Story is perhaps the first film in this year which created huge waves ever since its trailer hits the web as it featuring the never seen ever heard such bold content and almost falling in the genre of XX films, while on the other it is also heard that the film has been tagged a Indian version of Basic Instinct. The hate story not only featuring the elements like love, and betrayal but also business, politics, crime and revenge in huge way and of course exceptionally hot sequences.

Hate Story’s first promo became viral for its provocative and explicit essence making it the most commented promo on social networking sites turning out as one of the remarkable promos. Vikram Bhatt came up with the film Hate Story featuring a protagonist who eyes vengeance and uses her seduction as a weapon to deal scores with the wrong-doers. A fascinating plot that has the power to keep the viewer glued to the seat, the film soars up the temperatures the audience thanks to the damn hot dare hot scenes by Paoli Dam, but is not convincing at certain potions as well.

The storyline spins around Kaavya and her transformation from a simple middle class journalist to a prostietute to seek revenge in any way. Kaavya now have anything to lose anymore who lost her soul now her body do the talking, uses her seduction as a lethal weapon to destroy Siddharth completely by using everyone linked to him one way or another. Thus begins the ride of hatred and brutal vengeance. Movies with such an bold theme may fall under the watchful eyes of the critics and may led clashes and Hate Story is sure to meet with red eyed angry.

What makes the movie can be seen is the vengeance aspect. First she gets into intimate with the the CEO played by Joy Sengupta followed by the influential politician played by Mohan Kapur the woman won’t mind her body for getting closer to her prey. But the way in which she moves pawns seems so unworkable and unrealistic. Stunning dialogues and explicit visuals had trained the hot movie fonds as to what to expect from Hate Story, so that the film buff definitely get to see daring on-screen.

The movie is the package of seductive explicit scenes and also has extensive use of foul language making a steamy thrillers. Director Vivek Agnihotri has filmed Hate Story most stylishly. The reason that drives Paoli to take vengeance is completely justified and the twist in the tale in the final sequence is shocking, but not upto the mark. Background score is just rocking electrifying, music by Harshit Saxena is decent.

The highlights of the film features its dialogues and dramatic scenes also Attar Singh Saini’s cinematography is eye candy. Paoli Dam played a multi-faceted character, she is the one who won acclaim for her performances in Bengali films, makes a wonderful debut in Hindi films with Hate Story. Gulshan executed his talent in a brilliant way as he plays the anti-hero with enjoyment.

In fact, the film is about the conflict between Paoli and Gulshan’s characters and the impact is heightened as they indulge in the game of cat and mouse. Nikhil is decent to his character. Rest of the cast played their parts well. On the whole, Hate Story will cash only on bold and provocative scenes but not on its storyline.

Putting it simply, watchable for the performance of Paoli Dam.

Rating: Average – 3/5
