Story
Bond Ravi played by Puneeth Rajkumar who is the man has got the plenty of helping nature. Bond Ravi got the karate champ skills and is shown as working in a medical camp of Singapore. One day he happens to come across Ravi Meera played by Priyamani in a bus and falls in love with her beauty. And on the other day, Meera lands in the same village where Bond Ravi lives to make a documentary movie.
She stays with her friend Divya played by Nidhi Subbaiah. Ravi realizes his love on Meera when she about to leave the village, she sweetly suggests him to make something big in life. Ravi along with Chapathi Babu played by Rangayana Raghu leaves his village. Ravi meets a military guy Chandrakanth (Avinash in the forest then a unexpected shoot begins from Charlie (Jackie Shroff).
Bond Ravi helps Chandrakanth this time around from the dangerous drug mafia is looking for his daughter, who thinks his daughter is with Chandrakanth. Now the story is all about the revenge of Charlie on Bond Ravi. After the death of Divya Chandrakanth’s daughter Meera eventually comes into the grip of Charlie. The remaining movie spins around the escape of Meera from Charlie, and this tough ask for Bond Ravi.
Review
The long awaited film ‘Anna Bond’, starring the Kannada superstar Puneeth Raj Kumar and directed by Suri. Anna Bond is amazingly bad which has shades of his own super hit film ‘Jackie’, does not live up to the hype expectations. The film is no masala entertainer and tedious action movie. The major drawback is poor screenplay. Suri, known for his gripping narration, fails to score.
Dialogues delivers some laughter in the first part of the flick. Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff, who plays a villain in the film fails to shine who delivered an lazy performance. The plus points of the films are action and song sequences and Puneet Raj Kumar’s dialogue delivery.
Puneet donned decent job in action sequences and the last two action scenes are mind blowing. Chubby Priyamani lost weight for this role looks hot in dance sequences. But boring story telling and a weak screenplay overshadow these good elements. The entire second half sets to disappoint spectators.
All in all, Anna Bond is Blows minds with headache!
