Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan is ready to acquire a 50% shareholding in one of India’s oldest and most successful football clubs, Dempo FC, for around Rs 30 crore, suggest that actor showing tremendous interest in the business of sports. Sources buzz that the club, being old and successful, is approximately valued at about 50-60 crore.
Negotiations are at final stage and the deal ends in a week or two. The world’s most popular game has not been a very profitable in India, where cricket rules. Dempo invests Rs 12 crore a year to run the team.
