Aamir Khan turns first non-MP to be invited to Parliament

Aamir Khan Bollywood actor is heard to have become the first non-MP to be invited to the Indian Parliament panel to discuss medical issues, Aamir Khan will discuss his findings there.

Aamir Khan Satyameva Jayate47-year-old Aamir Khan Bollywood star’ show Satyamev Jayate kept making waves. Soon after his TV show Satyamev Jayate shaked some feathers with after an episode dealing with malpractices in medical profession; the actor gets an invitation to the Sansad Bhavan. Aamir and the team will be there on Thursday to reveal out their subject of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in the pharmaceutical sector.

Apparently, the head of the parliamentary committee, Shanta Kumar called up Aamir come to Parliament. The idea is to explore the research on the subject of medicines. Aamir’s official spokesperson confirms: Amir has been invited for Thursday meeting.

Other actors who tried to get inside Parliament but sent back are Emraan Hashmi for a film’s promotion and Rakhi Sawant, who harbours political aspirations.
