The Hindi sci-fi adventure film has been directed by Shirish Kunder and stars Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha, Minisha Lamba And Shreyas Talpade and the film marks the Akshay Kumar’s 100th film. Joker official trailer published by UTVMotionPictures which releases on 31st Aug, 2012.
The film is an “out of this world” comedy about an NRI played by Akshay Kumar and his beautiful wife Sonakshi Sinha who return home to discover that their village has dropped off the map of India. To put it back on the world’s radar they must now forge an unlikely alliance of crazy villagers & aliens that will turn their village into the biggest “tamasha” the universe has ever seen!
Akki and Sonu starrer Joker story spins around a village called Paglapur, that remains isolated, with no electricity, television or sanity. Akshay is playing a character of a NASA scientist Agasthya, while Sonakshi plays his wife Manali.
The promo also features Chitrangada Singh in an item song. Joker is the second film in which Sonakshi is paired opposite Akshay after Rowdy Rathore. The film will hit the screens on 31 August, 2012.
