Shahid Kapoor the Bollywood’s chocolate boy who was last seen in Teri Meri Kahaani starring opposite to Priyanka Chopra is now heard that he turned a Phata Poster Nikla Hero.
Shahid has been signed on a Bollywood masala entertainer, Rajkumar Santoshi’s new movie tentatively titled `Phata Poster Nikla Hero`. Phata Poster Nikla Hero film to be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, who has given hits like ‘Ghayal’, ‘Andaz Apna Apna’, ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. The film will be produced by Ramesh Taurani’s Tips Films.
Filmamkers have finalised Shahid Kapoor as the hero for the film as they felt he will fit the bill for this role. Shahid is with two other projects in hand — Maneesh Sharma’s (of ‘Band Bajaa Baraat’ fame) next with Yash Raj Films and other with Prabhu Deva.
This film story spins around a young boy who wants to be a superstar despite his mother’s protestations. This film is a full fledged masala entertainer with elements of romance and action. The leading lady for this film is yet to be finalised.
