Yeduguri Sandinti Rajasekhara Reddy popularly known as YS, was a two-time Chief Minister of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. September 2 2009, a helicopter carrying Reddy went missing in the Nallamala forest area. On the morning of 3 September 2009, media agencies reported that the helicopter had been found crashed on top of Rudrakonda Hill, 40 nautical miles from Kurnool.

AR Rahman’s theme song ‘Swagatham’ for CWG Hit or Flop? Suresh Kalmadi, Organising Committee Chairman unveiled the 2010 Commonwealth Games theme song at the inaugural Swagatham ceremony on Saturday (28 August, 2010).

Rahman launched the theme song ‘Oh yaaro, India bula liya’ at the glittering ceremony. The Commonwealth Games (CWG) theme song, composed and voiced by music maestro A.R. Rahman, has come under spotlight of criticism. Members of the Group of Ministers feel that the anthem — Oh yaaro, yeh India bula liya — lacks the magic of Rehman, who is a creater. Group of Ministers (GoM) are not happy with the theme song. Sports Minister M.S, however, accepted that Rahman was given less time to compose the song. Rahman CWG song still failed to impress the GoM. Vice-president of Indian Olympic Association, had said, song has fallen short of to their expectations. Apart from GoM members, some leading music composers from the industry are also dissapointed with the song.
