Anurag Basu is the leading director at present looking to direct his own turbulent and shocking life story, as a director who could listen the various charectors life while he selects some of incidents for the movie, but this time the movis will be based on his life and struggles.

According to Anurag Basu their the real life cannot be hidden when the struggles knocking at the door,Anurag  was diagnosed with acute leukaemia a few years ago however had recovered  from the illness, where the glamour wents useless and vulgar after what he has gone through in life.

He has directed some movies after his recovery like ‘Gangster – A Love Story and Life In A… Metro’ in 2007. This movie has got huge sucesss through masess. Anurag  is busy with the shooting for the film “Kites” while he is the diorector for the film and the movie starrers Hrithik Roshan and Mexican actress Barbara Mori which is getting ready through makeover to release later this year which will be release in two languages English and Hindi,Basu is planning to work with Barbara again.Basu is  a ver ambitious person looking forward for  ”Kites” and he wants to make a mark on the global arena with the film. After making ‘Kites’ for Rakesh Roshan, Basu is committed to make his next film with UTV.

Kangana Ranaut who played a important role in kites was did’nt appeared in Cannes for Kites, because they even don’t know who will attend that promotion, for that last minute, were kangan ranaut missed out the chance to walk in red carpet in Cannes for the forth coming film Kites.

Director Anurag Basu, producer Rakesh Roshan and Hrithik Roshan have returned to Mumbai from Cannes while Barbara Mori, happy with her moment of red-carpeted fame has gone back to Mexico; all happy at the way the 9-minute trailer of Kites has been received at the international jamboree.

But the one voice of dissent in the glamorous event that we cannot hear, thanks to the din of clinking champagne glasses, is Kangna Ranaut’s.

After the recent Adhyayan-Shahana Goswami episode where Kangna was linked to Kites’ other leading lady Barbara Mori’s brother (who apparently has no interest in women), Kangna has voluntarily gone into a shell, from which she was more than willing to emerge long enough to attend the Cannes event for Kites.

But no one invited Kangna! Strange, considering she’s the leading lady of the film. Says a source close to the actress, “Kangna was not told to accompany Rakesh Roshan, Hrithik and Anurag Basu, although the director Anurag is very close to her and in fact was instrumental in recommending her for the role in Kites. We believe the team wanted to focus on the Hrithik-Barbara pair to give Kites a more international crossover appeal at Cannes.”

But doesn’t it appear exceedingly strange that the film’s leading lady was left out at such an important event, just to spotlight the leading man with another pair?

When questioned, Rakesh Roshan washes his hands off the matter. “We ourselves were not sure till the last minute of what has happening, and who was going or not. Even my brother Rajesh Roshan who was done the Kites music was left out because of the last-minute flurry. I think our co-producers Big Pictures would be the best people to comment on why Kangna couldn’t go.”

A representative of Big Pictures laughs off the matter saying, “I think Mr. Rakesh Roshan would be able to comment on why Kangna wasn’t at Cannes.”

Kites is the Hrithik Roshans forth coming movie, expectations are sky high for the film to become another sensational after the Jodha Akbar he’s set to relaese wiyh new aim.

Kites is an upcoming movie of Hrithik Roshan. This movie is produced by his father Rakesh Roshan while director is Anurag Basu. Barbara Mori and Kangana Ranaut are the other co-stars of this movie.

The budget of this movie is around US $25 million.

Plot: Kites is about an Indian boy’s (Hritik Roshan) romantic affair with a Latino girl (Barbara Mori) and their predicament as they do not understand each other’s language. Hrithik plays a salsa teacher in “Kites”. Kangana plays a very rich girl and is shown as Hrithik’s dance student. The story is set in Las Vegas. In the course of learning Salsa from him, she falls madly in love with him. But then a twist in the tale takes place and the romantic story takes a thriller turn. Barbara Mori plays a Spanish girl who speaks only in Spanish which Hrithik can’t speak a word of. So he speaks to her in Hindi and yet the two communicate and fall madly in love. But then something happens that forces the two to split and that’s where Kangana steps in.

Hritik Roshan will have a new leaner and long hair look in this movie.
