‘Sangeeta Mahayuddha’ on Udaya Tv Kannada channel, ‘Sangeetha Mahayudham’ reality show in other three languages will be aired on Sun TV (Tamil), Gemini (Telugu), Surya (Malayalam).

All about the show, Totally ‘Music Ka Maha Muqabla’ version to be aired in four languages in South Indian televison channels. The show will be hosted by playback singer Chinmayi K Sripadaa in Tamil and by actress Udaya Bhanu in Telugu. This is going to be the biggest music game show on the southern channels in which six popular singers and their teams will be competing against each other.

Sangeeta Mahayuddha on Udaya tv Kannada channel presenting by Sun Television network and Saibaba Telefilms. Sangita Mahayudha Kannada version of the music reality show ‘Music Ka Maha Muqabla’ on Star Plus’ titled ‘Sangeeta Mahayuddha’ is believed to be the biggest such reality show in Karnataka – South India. Sangita Mahayuda show will have six popular singers/music directors from the Kannada film industry along with their team of 3 young singers, competing for the top spot. The judges are Nanditha, Dr.Shamitha, Chaitra H G, Hemanth B S, Rajesh Ramnath and L N Shastri. Sangeetha Mahayudda show will have 28 episodes aired across 14 weeks, every Saturday and Sunday 9 pm, only on UdayaTv, starting 26th June 2010. And for the first time, Indian Bollywood singer Sowmya Raoh will be hosting the show in Kannada. Sowmya Rao is an Indian playback singer who has performed in Kannada, Tamil, Hindi and Telugu languages.

Sangeetha Mahayudham on Surya TV Malayalam channel. 18 finalists selected from the mega auditions in Kochi would be part of the six teams led by the Captains in the show which will last for 14 weeks. The six teams – ”Thrissur Tambrans” will be led by Unni menon, ”Kottayam Kings” by Chitra Iyer, ”Cochin Warriors” by George Peter, ”Kozhikode Sultans” by Manjari, ”Kannur Masters” by Sayanora and ”Trivandrum Royals” by Vidhu Pratap.

Music ka Maha Muqabla results and grand finale winner – Amul maha muqabla is a reality show on STAR Plus, which aimed to bring a new format to music reality shows in India, which is based on Teams rather than individuals.Shankar Mahadevan and his Rockstar team is the winner of AmulMahaMuqabla which was broadcasted on Star plus last night. ShankarMahadevan & Shaan teams were the finalists who were competing with each other in Grand Finale.Sankar Mahadevan, the winning team of Rockstars, won the prize money of 50 lakhs along with a trophy and the runner up team (shaan) received a cash price of 25 lakhs. The winners award was given to SaankarMahadevan by Padambhushan winner Ustad amjad ali khan.The show will last for a total of 13 weeks. 6 Teams, led by their own superstar captains, battle it out in this weekly music competition. The singing superstars include Mika Singh, Himesh Reshammiya, Mohit Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal, Shaan and Shankar Mahadevan.

Music Ka Maha Muqabla (MKMM) a six teams contestants singing competition reality show on Star Plus Tv channel. Amul Music Ka Maha Muqqabla has been produced by Gajendra Singh of Sai Baba Teleflims. The show will be aired for 13 weeks, there are 6 teams from that captains are Himesh Reshammiya, Shankar Mahadevan, Mika Singh, Shaan, Mohit Chauhan and Shreya Ghoshal. Sub singers of their team will support their team captain.
